Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for Prospectio.io subscription plans. This policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
1. Subscription Billing
Prospectio subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on the plan selected at checkout. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- You retain access to all features until your current billing period expires
- No partial refund is issued for the remaining time in the current billing period
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:
3.1 Annual Plan Cooling-Off Period
If you purchased an annual subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, provided that you have not launched any campaigns or uploaded lead data through the platform during that period. This cooling-off period applies to first-time annual purchases only and does not apply to renewals.
3.2 Service Disruption
If the Service experiences a material outage or disruption lasting more than 72 consecutive hours that prevents you from using core platform features, you may be eligible for a pro-rata credit or refund for the affected period. To request consideration, contact our support team within 30 days of the disruption.
3.3 Billing Errors
If you were charged in error (duplicate charges, charges after cancellation, incorrect amounts), we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge. Please contact our support team with details of the billing error within 60 days of the charge.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not issued in the following cases:
- Monthly subscription fees after the billing period has begun
- Annual subscriptions after the 14-day cooling-off period has expired
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- Dissatisfaction with campaign performance or results (Prospectio provides the tools; outcomes depend on your strategy, content, and lead quality)
- Failure to cancel before an automatic renewal
- Downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan mid-cycle (the difference is not refunded; the downgrade takes effect at the next billing period)
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact our support team at contact@prospectio.io
- Include your account email address, the charge date, and the reason for your refund request
- Our team will review your request and respond within 5 business days
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider.
6. Plan Changes
6.1 Upgrades
When upgrading to a higher-tier plan, you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period. The upgrade takes effect immediately.
6.2 Downgrades
When downgrading to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing period. You retain access to your current plan features until then. No refund or credit is issued for the difference.
7. Free Trials
If we offer a free trial period, no charge is made during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the published rate. Charges incurred after a trial ends are subject to this Refund Policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. The version in effect at the time of your purchase or renewal governs any refund request for that billing period.
